Course Description

The quality of initial management of severely burned patients has a major impact on morbidity and mortality. Care begins in the field, and in certain circumstances, may continue outside an approved burn center.

Objectives

At the end of this one-day training course, learners will be able to assess and stabilize a severely burned patient, as well as identify patients requiring transfer to a specialized center.
